There is no monthly membership fee or listing fee for items available for purchase in your online store. This means you can list as many items as you want and they do not expire or have to be renewed/relisted. The items you add can remain in your store without any additional fees.
When you sell an item, LightWay Christian Store collects the payment for the item, and deducts a 5% commission fee from the final sales price and standard payment processing fee. We then transfer the remaining funds to your connected seller bank account.

* When customers pay, there is a small fee deducted for processing the payment. This fee does not go to LightWay Christian Store but to the payment processing company.
We process payments using Paypal Braintree's secure, SSL-encrypted platform, and have security and fraud detection settings enabled to protect you and your buyers 24/7.

LightWay provides a christian marketplace for authors, makers, artists, and others to sell their books, digital goods and downloads, handmade creations, and other products. It is designed to be a central location where Christians can find other materials and products sold by other Christians.
Since there are so many people who self-publish Christian resources, LightWay provides a one-stop-shop to find those materials for classes, personal study, or gifts that are created by members of the Lord’s Church.
It does not cost anything to publish an item listing on our marketplace and there is no time limit on the item listing.
Once an item sells, LightWay will deduct our 5% commission fee from the final sales price (not including shipping costs) and pay the payment transaction fee from the sales proceeds. This small transaction fee is on the total sale amount and is necessary for accepting online payments.
All fees and prices are based on USD and the marketplace is for transactions in the United States only at this time.
We collect payments for sales using the secure online services of PayPal. We will then forward you what is left after you pay for the shipping, payment transaction fee, and our 5% commission fee. Your proceeds will be sent to your connected seller account.
No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. However, to sell on LightWay you must provide an account to which we can send payments. You can connect either a PayPal account or a bank account to receive the transfers after the completion of sales.
It’s easy to set up a shop on LightWay. First, you need to submit a request to be a seller on LightWay (this will also create an account if you don’t already have one). The registration form asks for your basic information including your store name, location, and other contact information. Once approved as a seller, you will then be able to create product listings, set a payment method (how you want to be paid), and personalize your shipping methods and information.
