A Critical Review of a New Modernism & A Plea For Unity

In September 1963, the elders of the West End Church of Christ (St. Louis, MO) invited Brother G.K. Wallace to come and present a series of lectures because some doctrinal issues had started to creep into the minds of Christians in that area. The lessons deal with the dangers of liberalism to the Church of our Lord and directly refute the teachings of Carl Ketcherside who had shifted from his earlier “anti-ism” beliefs and had begun teaching the more liberal approach for “unity in diversity.”

Although originally delivered in 1963, the truth proclaimed by brother G.K. is needed as urgently now as then. His lectures are critically needed in the Lord’s Church and are timeless truths applicable to every generation. The Lord’s Church today is confronted with devious biblical interpretations that rely upon the subjectivity of emotions instead of the objectivity of Biblical authority.
